Obituary for William Joseph "Joe" Burress

William Joseph (Joe) Burress, 65, of McRae, died on Monday, September 3, 2018 in Vidalia.
He worked with Pumpco Pipe Line Construction. He was a member of the McRae Jaycees and loved spending time at the Gator Creek Sporting Class.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, William Leroy (Nook) Burress and Mary Ann (Jane) McGowan Burress.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, September 6th at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Lowe’s Funeral Home. The Rev. Joe Elton will officiate.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the services in the chapel of Thursday.
Survivors include his 2 children, Andy (Dana) Burress of Perry and Jodi (John) Robbins of Valdosta; 1 sister, Lee (Randy) Murray of Hazlehurst; 4 grandchildren, Drew Burress of Perry and Kailey Burress of Perry, Jack Robbins of Valdosta and Bo Robbins of Valdosta.
The family has requested no flowers.
