Obituary for Charlie Knowles

Charlie Maloy Knowles, 81, of Helena, died on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Knowles was a member of the Apostolic Kingdom Center and retired from Little Ocmulgee State Park, also, he was a Veteran serving in the United States Army for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Lewis Knowles and Alice Lee Oliver Knowles.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 6th in the chapel of Lowe’s Funeral Home with interment following in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
The Rev. Lane Moubray and Mr. John Conley will officiate.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Faye Knowles of Helena; 4 children, Shirley (Dustin) McEntyre of Helena, Linda (Gary) Audy of Athens, Deloris (Danny) Gillis of Glenwood, William (Stephanie) Bedgood of Pearson; 1 brother, Benny Knowles of Bryon; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 6th in the chapel of the funeral home.
